HOORAY!!! Thank you benefactor, whoever you are. I'll check the website and update as I have changes. I discovered that I went to school with some pretty nice people. It was fun to get reacquainted.

What a blast the reunion was! Everyone was great! Nothing like a marathon weekend. I had no idea what great people I went to school with. I guess many of us were on a survival mission to get through high school and didn't take the time to make the kind of long lasting friendships we should have. I am so proud of so many of our classmates and their tremendous accomplishments. We've all taken so many roads and am thankful some of you thought enough of our "Happy Hour", "Reunion" and "Picnic" to come back and tell your stories. When Chris and I were out driving around the
old stomping grounds to take pictures for the reunion, it really took me back to a time that was a complete blur, and I mean that literally! I stayed lost the whole time and if it hadn't been for Chris' navigational abilities, I might not have been able to make it back home. I could hardly find my old house, but happily did and took pictures for my Dad. Parts of Oak Cliff are still so beautiful. I look forward to seeing everyone at our next "Happy Hours" and "35th Reunion". Thanks to all for your compliments and support concerning the website and to our benefactor for their support in keeping our website alive. Keep in touch!

I enjoyed seeing many of you at the reunion. For those of you who didn't make it, you missed a GREAT evening. Thanks to all of you who spent countless hours planning it; it's a labor of love and a lot of tedious work! My most memorable event of the evening took me quite by surprise! I was wandering around at the back of the hall and stopped to study the giant class picture for a while. Then I walked a short distance and saw a small poster with a title to the effect of "Help Us Find Our Missing Classmates." Something written on it caught my attention. Out beside a man's name that I didn't
recognize, someone had written these words in ink; "Killed in Vietnam 1972". For a few moments, I tuned out the music and a multitude of conversation as I thought to myself; "It's very sad that one of our classmates might not have lived even one year after we graduated." As I turned away to rejoin the party, I muttered these words. "Thank You!" I hope he heard my simple tribute.

Just a note to thank you and the committee for such a great reunion. I have been so swamped here that I have not had the chance to send a card of thanks to you all. I appreciate the hard work that each and every one of you sacrificed to make that event memorable.

The Saturday night reunion at the Country Club was a wonderful time! It was so strange, but fun, to walk outside by the pool where some of us spent MANY MANY summer days swimming and eating french-fries oh so many years ago. The Mexican cuisine was a delicious dinner and the 70's music that was played brought back great memories! Thank you so much for all the hours the committee worked to pull off such a great evening! Thanks again to all of you who created a great evening at OCCC! We appreciate you.

Working on the reunion was great and worth all the hours spent with the organization of events. It was fun renewing old friendships and getting to know those that we didn't know in school. Having it at Oak Cliff Country Club seems to have been the best idea because so many showed up to relive memories that we all have from "Teen Night". I'm looking forward to the next reunion and hope that even more graduates will be able to attend.

I hope it's not too late to give my thoughts on the reunion, but here it goes: It was wonderful!!! So much hard work was put into it and I really appreciate you guys for making, what I thought, was the best reunion yet! How great it was to see everyone and talk about the old days! Looking forward to the future get-togethers. Thank you, committee, for your time and talent!
